Unlike the consultation style many health practitioners follow, habit coaching includes 1:1 coaching calls, weekly check-ins, everyday habit tracking, and unlimited email support.

Navigating the confusing landscape of health & nutrition can be intimidating. The internet is full of contradicting advice, the latest fads, and unrealistic promises. I believe in honesty, education, and putting YOU in the driver’s seat of your health.

  • Emily is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), Precision Nutrition (L1) Certified Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). She is always learning through continuing education and is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine.

  • Habit Coaching is a science-backed approach to help individuals create and maintain healthier habits. Unlike traditional methods that overwhelm with multiple changes at once, Habit Coaching focuses on one change at a time, ensuring lasting and sustainable results.

  • It's for anyone (especially busy professionals) who find it challenging to prioritize their health amidst their hectic schedules. If you're experiencing symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, unexpected weight gain, or just feel "off", Habit Coaching will get you feeling better.

  • The habits that have the greatest impact on your health include nutrition, movement, and mindset. Together, we will take a holistic approach and set realistic goals. No extreme diet tactics, over-exercising, or perfectionistic expectations.

  • No. One of my core beliefs is that every person is unique. We will figure out what food and nutrition habits help YOU feel your best. No calorie-counting, eliminating entire food groups, or ultra-restrictive diets.

  • Most of my clients are busy professionals, so I get it! We will schedule a 45-minute coaching call once every 3 weeks. Aside from that, all communication is via email and an online habit tracker. You will be focusing on one habit change at a time so that you can fit it into your schedule. No long list of to-do’s. No overwhelm.

  • Habit Coaching supports you in making positive lifestyle changes, whereas Functional Diagnostic Nutrition goes one step further to evaluate underlying patterns of dysfunction using functional lab testing. Whereas Habit Coaching is ideal for people who are relatively healthy but noticing subtle changes in their health, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is best for those with more complex or chronic concerns.
